Title: CDL-A Part-Time Instructor

Department: Center for Workforce, Community and Industry Partnerships

Salary Range: $30/hour, part-time (minimum 20 hours/week)

Description of Duties

• Provide CDL-A one-on-one driving instruction on both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Flexible hours for scheduled driving instruction, up to 36 hours per week available.

This is a part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) 6-month position, work week-day shift with weekend or evening availability. The successful candidate will be eligible for NYS retirement and benefits if working more than 20 hours per week.

Qualifications
Required:

• NYS Commercial Driver's License Class-A
• NYS Class-D driver's license
• Clean driver's abstract
• High school diploma

Preferred:

• Minimum 5 years of CDL-A driving experience on manual transmission
