Visiting Assistant Professor

The Public Health and Human Performance Department at SUNY Potsdam invites applications for a full-time (10-month), Visiting Assistant Professor to support its online Master of Science in Public Health and a residential Bachelor of Science Public Health degrees.

Duties include:

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate students
• Supporting retention and recruitment activities, academic advising
• Participation in department meetings
• Contributing to the assessment and accreditation activities of the School and College
• Professional service and scholarly work appropriate to rank
• Serving on thesis/graduate project committees.

Requirements include:

• an MPH, DrPH or a PhD in Public Health or a closely related field
• experience working in the public health prevention field
• a demonstrated ability to conduct community-based public health programming and/or research appropriate to the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor.
